As I learned from last semester, cinematography is extremely important, and it is essential to follow the rules of leading lines and the rule of thirds.

Keeping those in mind, we also had to find a way to make toast flying out of a toaster seem energetic, intense and epic.

Suddenly, I thought of one of my favourite directors of all time, Edgar Wright, who made the Cornetto Trilogy, all of which rank very highly on my personal list of favourite films of all time.

His quick and masterfully shot sequences make even the most normal scenes seem intense and therefore comedic, such as Shaun getting ready in the morning in Shaun of the Dead.
